Overview
We are a leading software development company seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us expand our client base and drive growth in the exciting world of software development.
As a BDR, you’ll play a key role in generating high-quality leads, engaging potential clients, and securing meetings for our sales team. Your work will involve leveraging cold calling, email marketing, LinkedIn outreach, and other outbound tactics to connect with prospects. You’ll also use platforms like Upwork to bid on projects and acquire clients, focusing on IT outsourcing and staff augmentation opportunities. What You’ll Do
- Lead Generation: Utilize tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Zoom Info, email automation tools, and CRM systems to identify and engage potential clients.
- Email and LinkedIn Outreach: Execute targeted email marketing campaigns and LinkedIn outreach to generate leads and build relationships with prospects.
- Proposal Writing: Identify suitable jobs on platforms like Upwork, craft compelling proposals, and provide tailored solutions.
- Client Engagement: Qualify leads and schedule high-value meetings for the sales team with potential clients.
- Outreach Volume: Maintain a high volume of daily outreach activities while ensuring personalized communication and quality interactions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the team to align outbound efforts with inbound marketing strategies for maximum impact.
- Sales Tracking: Use CRM tools to track and report on all sales activities and results, maintaining transparency and accountability.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and the latest IT outsourcing and staff augmentation services to position our offerings effectively.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience as an SDR or in a similar business development role, preferably in the tech industry or software development services.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation and meeting scheduling targets.
- Experience with project acquisition and bidding on platforms like Upwork is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email automation platforms, and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
